A Gada should be 1–2 kg heavier than the Mudgar you can swing comfortably — many reps, long sessions. This Gada is approx. 4–5 kg, so it's the right step up once you're comfortable with a 3–4 kg Mudgar. Still on a lighter Mudgar? Build up to 3 kg first.
The Gada supports both. Start with two-hand swings for control, then add single-hand work as your grip and shoulders adapt to the extra weight.
Keep it dry, wipe sweat off after each session, and rub in a little neem oil and castor oil once every 15 days to keep the Sheesham from drying out. Store upright, away from direct heat.
